This invitation is for 16 people desiring to live a life that is deeply aligned with the real self – a self who is free of the beliefs and expectations that are no longer serving our greatest fulfillment.
While the group is philosophical and spiritual in nature (meaning that we explore ideas about who we are beyond the seemingly separate self) it is intentionally not affiliated with any religious group. The class material, self-reflective assignments, and group conversations are all designed to create an environment that naturally draws us into a more loving, aware relationship with ourselves. It is from this place of profound self-remembrance that we have the power to be in this world as an expression of the love and peace that we all yearn for, and yet at the deepest level, already are.
What You’ll Experience:
During each class, you will be part of a large group of 16 and a smaller group of 8, where deeper explorations of ideas can occur. Through the study of thought-provoking texts, time in meditative contemplations, and conversations with like-minded people, we help one another to create new insights that dramatically reshape the ways we relate to ourselves, one another, and the world.
At Discovering The Soul Counseling Center, we offer community classes for $40 per class. Since registration is limited to 16 participants for the purpose of depth and connection, please only sign up if you plan to commit to the 10-week course.

Your Hosts:
Devon Hoover is a licensed psychotherapist with a graduate degree in Clinical Psychology who specializes in the treatment of clients with a history of trauma. She is a certified practitioner of Rapid Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and holds advanced graduate certification in Forensic Psychology. Devon has served as a spiritual teacher for over 10 years and as the Director of the Springfield School of Metaphysics. She has trained extensively in Psi Counseling, Quantum Consciousness facilitation, and Akashic Record past life reporting. She has hosted Self-Transformation Retreats throughout the Midwestern United States for years. Devon and her husband Brian reside with their 3 teenagers in Ozark, MO.
Brian Hoover is a certified Professional Life Coach who specializes in helping clients to connect with who they are at their core essence in order to understand, live and experience the greater fulfillment, freedom, and love we all know is possible. Brian has served as a spiritual teacher for over 10 years, was on the National Board of Directors of the School of Metaphysics, and an Area Director of school branches in Missouri and Oklahoma. During this time he completed his Doctorate of Divinity, became an Ordained Minister, and trained extensively in Psi Counseling, Quantum Consciousness facilitation, and Akashic Record past life reporting. He has hosted Self-Transformation Retreats throughout the Midwestern United States for years. Brian and his wife Devon reside with their 3 teenagers in Ozark, MO.
